Whether you’re a Baby Boomer or a Millennial, your score indicates that you are open to learning from the other generation. Bob teaches Millennials business, and Millennials teach him life. It’s a powerful notion that benefits all, as long as both parties seek true understanding.
To continue learning from younger or older generations, there are a few things you can do:
- Mutual mentoring — the mentor relationship should not be a one-way street. Develop a close mutual mentoring relationship with someone from another generation.
- Do whatever it takes — in business and life, you should carry this attitude with you. Don’t let anything in life stop you, no matter your age!
- Avoid cynicism — it’s easy to dismiss those of other generations and consider them unable to relate to our experiences. That’s false.
- Remember that the best is yet to come! — if you’re committed to the Millennial Baby Boomer lifestyle, your best days will always be in front of you.
